π« Universities Should Accept Equal Numbers of Male and Female Students in Every Subject. To What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree?
π Education is the power of knowledge, common for one and all. In some universities, the distribution of courses among students is gender-biased. I argue that the strength of both male and female students across all courses should be equal with moderation.
πΊ Universities often fail to admit female students in specific courses, as they may believe that female students are not physically fit enough to undergo the course. However, dedication and hard work allow each studentΒ to succeed in their desired career. For instance, subjects like marine engineering were usually offered to male students, but female students who love the sea can also achieve success in that area of study.
πΉ Similarly, male students face struggles. Moreover, subjects are often seen as deciding factors for gender inequality in education. Peopleβs minds have adapted to the idea that females usually prefer subjects related to home science. However, this also contributes to gender-biased admission of students, and men interested in home science are unable to pursue their degree in their passionate field.
βοΈ To sum it up, universities should provide an equal number of seats, irrespective of gender bias. Students who are interested in a subject should be allowed to pursue their degree based on their capability and skill. Any factor should not bias education, as the acquisition of knowledge is standard for everyone.
