Crimes and Other Kinds of Information on Tv and Newspapers

Crimes and Other kinds of information on Tv and Newspapers have bad consequences. This kind of information should be restricted to be shown in the media. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement?

Vulnerable content shown on media is often a major concern and debatable. Some people assert that TV channels, newspapers, and other modes of media always exaggerate sensible information related to offences, violence, drugs, etc., which actually must be avoided. I completely agree with their assertion and firmly believe that this offensive content must be limited to acceptable criteria.

With the tremendous increase in the usage of the internet and technology, people have been relying on media immensely to fetch the latest news and trends. Hence, the content that can be shown to bring awareness must be showcased on media. For example, an incident of serious sexual abuse well-outlined in a newspaper would enlighten the women living in that area and make them super cautious and attentive. However, images or videos of such a criminal act must be completely restricted. Overall, if an acceptable description of crime is also kept secret, the crime rate would skyrocket due to the lack of awareness.

On the other hand, over sensible information can lead to serious consequences, especially in adolescents as their minds are highly impressionable. Therefore extremely vulnerable content as such must be avoided. To illustrate, a prominent star could always be admirable by youngsters even if he had shown as a drug addict in a film. In addition to this, Law enforcement agencies and media must discuss and put forward the content regulations all over the globe. For example, in all the countries, if governments had educated film producers and actors on limiting serious crime in their movies, the number of young offenders would have been minimized globally.

To recapitulate, since media is a mere platform for offering informative and knowledgeable information, what can be shown must be confined to avoid dangerous consequences. Nevertheless, to what degree the limitations can be kept must be decided depending on how far the content is acceptable.
