Sample Answer of Describe a Family Member You Spend a Lot of Time With

In my family, we are four people: me, my mother, my father and my younger brother. I really love to spend time with everyone. In Fact, it is a rule in our family that we will always have dinner together.

Today I would like to talk about my mother, with whom I spend most of my time. My mother is a homemaker, and she is a great cook too. I have learnt to cook with her. She is the most kind-hearted person I ever know.

She has a lot of patience. I remember as a child, my brother and I used to throw tantrums sometimes, but she handled everything with love. She chooses us over her career so that we can spend maximum time with her.

During this covid 19 pandemic, I got a chance to spend a lot of time with her, and during that time, I learnt embroidery with her. It was a fantastic experience.

Part 3 Questions Describe a Family Member You Spend a Lot of Time With

Question 1:- What are the advantages of strong family relationships?

Answer – Strong family relations play a significant role in the development of each and every individual. When you have a supporting and encouraging family, you have confidence that whatever happens, your family will always be there for me. And so you can have the courage to pursue your goals.

Question 2:- How many generations are usually living under one roof in your country?

Answer – In India, staying in a joint family is still trending. In most families, three generations stay together under one roof. So children are able to stay with their grandparents every day and have a chance to learn from their wisdom.

Question 3:- What are the benefits, and drawbacks of a family of several generations living together?

Answer – I think the benefits are more, for example, if both parents are working, grandparents can take care of their grandchildren. Also, as parents grow older and retire from jobs, they start feeling lonely, so it is good to stay together. Also, old people have health issues, so they need someone to look after them, and I think their own children can take the best care of them. Sometimes conflicts occur between generations because some people don’t change according to time at that time, and issues occur.

Question 4:- Do both parents have equal responsibilities in taking care of their children?

Answer – Yes, both have responsibilities, but they can divide; for example, the mother can take care of their food and health, and the father can take care of their education and other needs. Responsibilities are on both partners, but if they can divide and manage, then it would be easy for both of them to run a happy family.
