Sample Answer of Describe a House or Apartment You Would Like to Live In
Currently, I’m living in a 3 BHK apartment, which is quite spacious, but buildings on every side surround it, so from my balcony, I can only see other people’s windows in my dream house.
I want a good view from my balcony, like a beach view. Moreover, I want my house in a silent natural area. I would prefer the chirping of birds rather than the honking of vehicles.
Also, I want water and electricity 24/7 along with some modern amenities like a gym, home theatre, library, and children’s park. I would like to spend my life there with my family. And I want to decorate it with a big chandelier in the living room.
I also want all the kitchen appliances like an oven, toaster, mixer, and griller so that I can cook every kind of food because I am great at cooking. Because I love gardens so much I would like to have a hanging garden in the study room. It gives positive energy while studying.
Part 3 Questions Describe a House or Apartment You Would Like to Live In
Question 1:- Do you think it’s better to rent or to buy a place to live in?
Answer – In the initial days, renting is okay when one is figuring out their career, but when you have a permanent job, I prefer buying one. Nowadays, easy home loans are available, so it is better to pay loan instalments rather than rent.
Question 2:- How easy is it to find a place to live in your country?
Answer – It depends on if you want to find a place in a small city or village. It is easily available, but it is difficult to find in cities like Mumbai or Bangalore because these cities are already crowded, and thousands of people migrate there every day to make their careers.
Question 3:- Do you agree that there is a right age for young adults to stop living with their parents?
Answer – This trend is not common in India. In India, people mostly stay in a joint family. We stay with our family even after getting married and having kids. So our kids get their grandparent’s love and affection every single day. We do stay in the nuclear family sometimes, either because of jobs or small conflicts in the family, but it is not that common.
Question 4:- What options are available to young couples looking for accommodation in your country?
Answer – Young couples can rent a full house if they wish to, but that would be a costly option. So young couples can also share a house with the landlord. For example, if it is a two-story house, then the couple can stay upstairs while the landlord is staying downstairs.
Question 5:- What are some of the pleasures involved in making a home for ourselves?
Answer – The main pleasure is having our own place to stay, which gives a different kind of peace. Also, we have the liberty to decorate it as we like, unlike in the rented home, one can not make any changes without the landlord’s permission. In some rented homes, there is also a restriction on cooking non-veg food. We can cook anything if the landlord is vegan or vegetarian in our house.
