The change was I started doing meditation. From the year 2019, I begin practising it. It happened because I was unable to share my thoughts with others. Nobody was there to hear my pain, my suffering, which I was going through. I was quite depressed at that time.

I didn’t know whom to talk to, whom to tell my distress. I found some videos from youtube that YouTube recommended to me & I started watching those videos. In those videos, I learned that meditation is a good technique to get rid of depression.

There was a guy whom I met because my family wanted me to get married, so the matrimonial prospect I met a guy & who practised meditation. He told me to do meditation by rising up early at 4 am. I started doing it only for 15mins & I really felt good that I was nearer to God.

Then I started speaking alone & vent out my pain, anger, and sorrows & I used to write a lot. I somehow became meditative. I always try to do meditation whenever I get free time & it was because of this I became balanced in my life & I will suggest everyone do meditation.

Question 1:- Do you think change is good?

Answer – Change is always good for the betterment & improvement of our life, but the change should be positive. Positive changes transform our lives, but negative changes destroy our life.

Question 2:- What are some of the major changes that occur to people throughout their lives?

Answer – People go through various changes in their life. From the start to the end of their life, changes are always constant in everyone’s life. Physically appearances change a lot. Mental changes happen because of the situation they are facing. People face serious problems; they either change into good or better people or become very wounded people.

Question 3:- Is your country changing rapidly?

Answer – My country is quite changing. Economically and technologically & the thinking of people is changing people’s thought processes. Economically I don’t think that our country is growing that much. Previously the growth of the country was much good, but nowadays, I think it got stagnant due to the COVID pandemic & the technological changes are there happening in our country.

Question 4:- In what ways have changes in technology changed people’s lives?

Answer – Technology has played a vital role in our lives. Technology has improved a lot. Nowadays, we have smartphones that too 5G phones. We can’t think of ourselves without smartphones. It has enabled people to have video calls to remote places. People can talk to a person who is in a rural area easily & connect through technology & industrialization growth has increased due to technological advancements.

Question 5:- Why do old people not accept change?

Answer – Old people are rigid in their thought processes. They don’t want others, especially the younger generation, to tell them what to do & what not to do. They find it very insulting that a younger generation’s upcoming generation is preaching about behavioural patterns or daily life requirements.
