I belong to Ludhaina, and it is a shopper’s paradise.
It is a rich town as many people are NRIs and spend a lot when they come from abroad
during vacations.
A shop, which has recently opened is the Vishal store
It is on the G.T.Road, just opposite the bus stand of my home town Ludhaina.
It is a one-stop store for all shopping needs.
Everything needed in day to day life is available under one roof.
The best thing is that it is easily approachable and has a huge underground parking to
accommodate about 200 cars.
The whole store is centrally air conditioned and has escalators and lifts for the
convenience of the customers.
There are four floors.
The ground floor has grocery and vegetables and fruits.
The first floor has garments and accessories such as purses, wallets, jewellery and socks.
The second floor has electronic gadgets and other miscellaneous household items.
The topmost floor has a food court where we can get pizzas and burgers.
I go there very often, in fact once or twice a week.
Sometimes I accompany my mother for her grocery shopping and sometimes with my
friends to do some window shopping.
I buy all my clothes from this shop.
It has all the leading brands and also some non-branded clothes at very reasonable rates.
The thing that impressed me the most is that this store has a membership card system
and offers special discounts for the members.
The salesmen are very nice and friendly.
They are always ready to help if you can’t find anything.
So this is the shop, which has impressed me a lot and I find very interesting.
