Describe a Time when You Had to Spend a Lot of Money on The Special Occasion.

Normally, I am the kind of person who does not believe in spending out of my budget and purchasing those things which are essential.

However, I spent a lot of money, which I will discuss today. It was all about last year’s Diwali time, and I bought clothes at the firstcry.com shop in the supermarket near my house. It is well-known for children’s clothes, toys and books and has several branches in my hometown.

I was supposed to buy two pairs for my daughter, but I bought more than five pieces of clothing in varieties that go well with my daughter. I needed to spend a maximum of 2000 rs, finalised with my spouse. However, when it came to the pay bill, I found out that it exceeded my limit and was more than 5000 rs.

I bought numerous pairs mainly because they contained the latest fashion designs with vibrant colours and good fabric. It was all eye-catching clothes for me, and without a second opinion, I only purchased them from that store.

When I returned home and showed it to everyone, I had to listen to so many things because it also exceeded our monthly budget. I was disappointed that day, and it also harmed Diwali festival days. I was gloomy for next week, too.

Follow-Up Questions: Describe a Time When You Had to Spend a Lot of Money on The Special Occasion

Question 1:- Why do people save money?

There are numerous reasons people save money. Firstly, they will save for unforeseen situations, for example, medical emergencies for the golden agers. Secondly, everyone will taught to save it for future dreams like to go abroad for higher study or a world tour. In addition, it will give excitement to a few people. It will give a sense of security and a sense of satisfaction as well. For example, as students, our mentors and parents have taught us to save money since childhood.

Question 2:- Do you think rich people are happier than those who are not rich?

I don’t believe happiness is related to rich or poor people because sometimes, although wealthy people have a lot of money, they can neither sleep well at night nor bond with family members or friends. However, if people are poor, they can understand the value of time, relationships and happiness and seem happier than others because they are satisfied with every small thing and find joy in it. They celebrate even a normal day with their family members as a festival.

Question 3:- Do you think children should learn money management?

Indeed, yes, money is everything in this contemporary era, and money management should be taught to them from childhood, as I mentioned earlier. I opine it will give them a sense of direction about their career and future goals. In addition, they can help their parents financially. If they understand the importance of it, then they start to save it. Later on, they can use it as fees in the university to get admission for post-graduation.

Question 4:- Why do many people apply for credit cards nowadays?

As per my observation, it will provide them with several benefits. First of all, you do not need to carry physical cash. Only using plastic cards can make payment at many places. Second, if MoneyMoney is not available in the account, using a credit card, individuals can shop at that time. After a month of the card payment cycle, they must have MoneyMoney in the account. So they can get enough time for it as well. For instance, I have applied for a credit card from my salary account because I want to buy the latest Apple TV from the well-known Reliance Digital store, which will cost me a lot.
