- How You Felt About Being Late?
One memorable time I was late was about six months ago when I was attending an important job interview. The interview was scheduled for 9:00 a.m., and I had planned everything carefully the night before. However, on the morning of the interview, I experienced an unexpected delay.
There was an issue with the public transportation system, as the bus I intended to take broke down midway through the journey.I ended up waiting for another bus, which took nearly 20 minutes to arrive.
To make matters worse, I had underestimated the traffic during rush hour. By the time I reached the office, I was almost 15 minutes late. I felt extremely embarrassed and unprofessional as punctuality is very important to me.Being late left me feeling anxious and disappointed with myself.
Fortunately, the interviewers were understanding and allowed me to proceed. That experience taught me the importance of leaving even earlier than planned, especially for crucial events.
