Sample Answer of Describe Something You Did that Was Difficult but Successful
We all have one thing we want to achieve, no matter how difficult. Here, I would like to talk about a time I did something very difficult and successful. A few years back, when I finished secondary school, I applied to a nursing school, and I was given admission. Well, I was so excited, although my friend had told me that studying nursing is stressful, I didn’t mind.
So we were told we had to pass two important exams, what I’m trying to say is we have to pass ten courses at once without this we would be sent back home. I think about how my dad had to take a loan to pay my school fees, and I decided to try my best.
I set a timetable for myself, and I like procrastinating, so a timetable served as a guide. In addition, for anything I find difficult, I would ask a senior to explain.
Well, it was very difficult for me because overall, I wouldn’t say I like reading, besides I sleep a lot, but I escape through the hurdles. Moreover, I had a problem understanding two courses, but I tried my best to read them daily.
Overall, I feel delighted that I overcame this examination, and now I work as a registered nurse. Although it was difficult, I’m proud I made it.
I’m preparing seriously for an international examination; it seems difficult, but I believe I would also come out with flying colours.
PART 3 Describe Something You Did that Was Difficult but Successful
Question 1:- Are successful people often lonely?
Answer – Well, if I should answer this, I would say they do. Successful people have only fair-weather friends and do not have people to talk to when they are depressed. That’s the reason why most successful people commit suicide, although they look as if they are fine on social media. I read in a newspaper two days ago about an owner of a big restaurant in my country who committed suicide, and the reason is still unknown till now. Imagine him not having close relatives around.
Question 2:- In general, how do people judge or assess the success of others?
Answer – Firstly, the public believes that successful people are proud. Also, they feel stingy and don’t want to give back to society. Also, they don’t like associating with them because they believe they want to use them to their advantage.
Question 3:- Why do (or should) people set goals?
Answer – Well, firstly, setting goals means you will achieve a better outcome. Secondly, for people who like procrastinating, this would serve as a guide for them. In addition, successful people say they become successful because they have a goal. For example, the richest man in my country said he had a goal to build a bank in one year and achieved it.
Question 4:- Do you believe being successful and making a lot of money are the same thing?
Answer – Well, it depends, for some people attaining the highest point in their career means being successful while others believe that being famous means you’ve made it. In my opinion, money is not everything. You can still have money, and you aren’t making it.
Question 5:- What does it take to become successful?
Answer – Well, as I said, have a set goal, don’t procrastinate, ask others for advice, and love and believe that you can make it in life.
Question 6:- What does it take to become successful faster?
Answer – There’s an adage that says do it one at a time. People should not rush because they want to be successful. They should do it slowly. Overall, I think they should adhere to the goals and rules that they set.
Question 7:- Why is it that some people achieve success faster?
Answer – They are intellectual, and they think very fast. Besides, everybody cannot have an identical IQ, Although some people are just favoured.
Question 8:- How do people achieve success at school?
Answer – Get Organized. Making a plan for what you’re going to do and when you’re going to do it will ensure you’re always ahead of the curve.
