Family IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answers

Question 1. How often do you meet with your family?

Answer – Well, if I talk about my immediate family, I live with them, so we meet every day and spend quality time, especially during meal times. Having said that, I don’t get to meet my extended family very often as they’re residing in other parts of my country. I try my best to visit my hometown once a year to meet them.

Question 2. How do you spend the time with your family?

Answer – As I said before, we live together, and it is an unsaid rule in my house to have meal time together regardless of one’s hectic schedule. We chat with each other, catch up on our day, watch the news together. It’s a precious time when we momentarily forget about our worries. We occasionally plan for a meal outside or go for weekend gateways whenever we get a chance.

Question 3. Do you want to live with your family in the future?

Answer – Definitely, I cannot imagine my life without my family, especially my 8-year- old son. No matter how many luxurious places I visited on my work tours, I always yearned for my family those times. The plan of shifting my parents close to my home is also on my bucket list as they are growing old and need more love and support.

Question 4. Are you close to all of your family members?

Answer – Yes, we are a very close-knit family. I share a good bond with my son, parents, and close relatives as well. Although we don’t get to meet each other in person, we always ensure to be in touch via virtual mediums such as calls or video conferences. We enjoy each other’s company.

Question 5. How has your family influenced you?

Answer – I believe that my family has played a significant role in shaping my personality for what I am now. I attribute my professional success to my mother, who has had sleepless nights during my examinations and always motivated me to do my best. In addition, my family imparted me moral morals, patience, humbleness, and diligence, and I hope I have lived them up to their expectations. I’m deeply thankful for having such a wonderful family.
