Question 1. Do you like fruits and vegetables? OR Do you like to eat fruit(s) and vegetables?

Answer:- Yes, I love having fruits and vegetables. They are a very good source of vitamins and minerals, especially the leafy vegetables or actually all of them are good we can not degrade any of them. And the best part is it’s not expensive, so it’s easily accessible for everyone.

Question 2. How often do you eat fruits and vegetables? OR Do you often eat fruit(s) and vegetables?

Answer:- Every day, actually, I am a vegetarian, so that’s the only source left for me to fulfil the basic nutrient needs of my body. And the truth is I enjoy adding them to my menu on a daily basis.

Question 3. Why do you think fruits and vegetables are important for us?

Answer:- Yes, fruits and vegetables are important for us as they are full of nutrients which are good for our health.

Question 4. What kind of fruit do you prefer?

Answer:- I prefer to use all types of fruit as I believe all of them are beneficial for our health. I love having apples and bananas on a daily basis as they are available throughout the year. I also like seasonal citrus fruits and berries. I don’t like canned fruits.

Question 5. What fruit(s) (and /or vegetables) do you especially like to eat?

Answer:- I like turned root vegetables such as Yam, Arbi along with seasonal veggies and in fruits; I like citrus fruits a lot. I love sapota and berries. I also prefer dry fruits like almond and cashew nuts.

Question 6. Do you like the same fruits and vegetables today as you did when you were a child?

Answer:- It’s almost the same with a bit of change. When I was a kid, I was choosier in terms of eating, but now I eat from a nutritional point of view to maintain my health.

Question 7. What fruit and vegetables did you like to eat when you were a child?

Answer:- When I was a kid, I only used to eat potatoes in all three meals every day. I was a huge fan of potatoes. I used to hate green vegetables, especially the leafy ones. But I used to wait for winters so eagerly so that I could get the new potatoes and peas and cauliflower vegetables to eat. That’s my all-time favourite.

Question 8. Is it easy (or convenient) to buy fruit and vegetables where you live?

Answer:- It’s very easy to buy them here as I live in Patna, Bihar. This place is full of farmers. We buy them from the local vegetable market which is located very near to my house. We get all types of seasonal vegetables at a very good price.

Question 9. Do you think people should eat more fruits and vegetables?

Answer:- Of course, I think everyone must include fruits and vegetables in their daily diet. They are always beneficial. I have also heard vegetarians tend to live more compared to non-vegetarians, but I am not sure how true this is.

 Question 10. Do you think it’s (really) necessary to eat fruits and vegetables?

Answer:- In order to maintain a healthy body, we must intake more veggies on a daily basis. There are some vitamins and minerals which are only found in vegetables. We can not fulfil that requirement from non-vegetarian food.

Question 11. How much fruit and vegetables do you think a person needs to stay healthy?

Answer:- I don’t think vegetables have any side effects. Well, the exact amount depends upon person to person as every body’s requirement is different as per their health and body. A certified dietitian or nutritionist will be the right person to ask about it.
