Question 1:- Do you recycle? Why/why not?

Answer- Yes, we do recycle, because if we don’t, we will have a lot of litres, and our dumpsite will fill up faster, which will lead to environmental hazards.

Question 2:- What do you recycle?

Answer- leftover foodstuffs, Plastic, soft drink cans and soft drink glass bottles.

Question 3:- Do you always try to recycle paper and plastic?

Answer- we recycle Plastic from plastic bottles, especially soft drink empties. These were thrown everywhere, and this was a looming danger since Plastic is not biodegradable. We also use leftover foodstuffs to make compost for our gardens, and plastic buckets are now used to plant flowers and vegetables. Old tyres are also used to plant vegetables and herbs.

Question 4:- Do you always try to recycle paper and plastic?

Answer- Yes, we try and recycle Plastic; there is a company in our town that is buying plastic bottles for recycling. This has led to everyone participating since it has a financial benefit.

Question 5:- What is commonly recycled? What products?

Answer- plastic bottles, as l have mentioned before, They make into bottles. There are also empty soft drink cans which are used to make bins for disposing of litter, and these are very durable. Old tyres are used to make soles for shoes.

Question 6:- Did you learn to recycle when you were a child

Answer- No, I didn’t; at that time, all these recycling issues had not been this serious. So l never got to hear about it until l was a bit older. I have shown interest in the subject and got to read about it widely.

Question 7:- Why have people’s attitudes towards recycling changed over the last several years?

Answer- I believe it’s because it has been given the attention it deserves. Information was finally reached almost everyone. The information on the dangers of global warming has made people want to be part of the change they want.

Question 8:- Do you think recycling is important?

Answer- lt is very important because it reduces waste and gives what we call garbage a second life spun. It also saves money and the environment.

Question 9:- Will you keep recycling in the future?

Answer- Yes, l will definitely. I am aware of the positive effects of recycling, and my children have joined the bandwagon. I wish for a safe and thriving environment for my children.
