Many People Believe that Countries Should Produce Food for The Whole Population and Import as Little Food as Possible. to What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree?

It is undoubtedly true that food security is one of the most critical concerns for all nations. Some people argue that countries need to generate food for the entire population as compared to import things. In my opinion, I partly agree with this matter.

On the one hand, there are some advantages of making food for the people in nations. First of all, new leaf-grown food items can be transported for a short time as well as travel thousands of miles from where it was grown. Due to this, these kinds of food items which are transported directly from farms to markets are surely healthier. Moreover, the economic impact of agriculture is an excellent way of creating income for countries and farmers. As a result, farmers will get their income in a straight way. Last but not least, unemployment can be reduced by providing jobs to the local people. For instance, South Korea is a country with imports less food, and it does not examine the profit and loss.

On the other hand, there are many reasons for importing goods. Firstly, with the help of this way, people can get a variety of choices in different items. In other brands, which is only possible with the importing related to this, every nation has a different climate, and not all kinds of fruits and vegetables are grown throughout the year. Hence, people can have fresh fruits any time they want because they can get imported fruits from other countries. For instance, iron imports fruits, such as pineapple and kiwi, because the weather is not suitable for growing them

In conclusion, although it is beneficial to import goods from different countries, I believe that it is better to produce food for the residents and import as little as possible because this will improve the state of the country’s budget.
