Nowadays, More and More People Decide to Have Children Later in Their Life. What Do You Think Are the Reasons for This? Do the Advantages of The Trend Outweigh the Disadvantages?
In modern times, the majority of couples generally prefer not to have babies sooner in their lives. In my own point of view, the high cost of living and unemployment in our society are some of the reasons for this trend. In this essay, I will give reasons why the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
To start with, people love children, and it has been the parents’ dream to have children. However, the difficulties and hardships have deprived people of having children sooner in life. Married couples will want to first plan and have a stable source of income, and so doing, it took them a long time to do that, hence the delay in having children come in place. Furthermore, issues concerning children are held in high esteem by the government, and any parents found wanting will be arrested and must face the law. This policy and the high cost of caring for children have reduced the rate people give birth to children.

Moreover, children who grow up without proper care from parents and guardians have ended up becoming criminals in society and are used to committing crimes, stealing and killing in society. The increased rate of crime in our society has been traced to parents who are unable to provide the basic needs of their children. For instance, female children have ended up being sexually abused at a tender age while looking for meals and helping hands from irresponsible men.
However, children are the leaders of the next generation, and there is a great need to preserve the human race by giving birth to children; hence, children deserve the best in life, and for society to be crime-free, more attention and care should be given to children, so they will not grow up and becomes criminal in the society, for parents to be able to give children the best, they took time to plan and put everything good in place before giving birth to children, which make people not to have children early in their life.
To sum it up, in my opinion, the advantages of people having children later in their life outweigh the disadvantages.
