Recent IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answers: Cooking and Housework

Question 1:- Do you like cooking?

Answer – Yes, I love cooking. I try different cuisines, and it’s like therapy for me.

Question 2:- Who usually does the cooking in your home?

Answer – My mom and I do cooking. I mostly do it on weekends because, on weekdays, my busy schedule doesn’t allow me to cook.

Question 3:- Do you do some cooking/help your family cook at home now?

Answer – Yes, on weekdays, I do small help such as kneading dough and chopping vegetables, and on weekends I make the whole menu.

Question 4:- Do you think your home is clean and tidy?

Answer – Yes, my mom hates clutter, so she maintains a clean house, and we help her with that.

Question 5:- Did you do some house cleaning when you were young?

Answer – Well, I used to keep my room clean when I was young, that’s it.

Answer – Yeah, breakfast is an important meal, and we have a healthy breakfast at home every day.

Answer – I learned basic cooking during covid 19 pandemic, but ya I m looking forward to learning baking more as I love cookies and cakes.

Answer – I hate arranging utensils back in their place after washing them, and I don’t particularly appreciate mopping.

Question 9:- Do you think that men and women should share housework?

Answer – Yes, household responsibilities should be shared in this era where women also work.
