Question 1:- What’s (the name of) your hometown?

The name of my hometown is Konongo, a town located in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Question 2:- Is it a big city or a small place?

It is a small town, thou, but it has both small and big cities surrounding it.

Question 3:- How long have you been living there?

I have been living there since childhood. According to my mother, I was born in Accra, which is in the southern part of Ghana. We relocated to our hometown and have lived there ever since.

Question 4:- Would you say it’s an interesting place?

It’s an exciting place since you are free to go about your daily activities without fear of the untold. Neighbours watch out for each other and harmony between all.

Question 5:- What do you like (most) about your hometown?

I like the unity and peace that reign between the people living there. In addition, the easy accessibility of food that is free from additives helps with the optimum health of the community.

My favourite part of my hometown is the riverside, with a sculpture of our late king. Natives fetch water, and some relax under trees at the bank for fresh air.

I like almost everything, except for the means of transport, which is the bus, which operates only twice a day, restricting our movement sometimes.

Question 8:- Do you think you will continue living there for a long time?

Definitely, I would continue to live there, but when an opportunity to travel is given, I will gladly take it to explore other countries and expand my horizons.

There is only one tourist site in my hometown, the statue of our late king. There is a tourist guide who offers history during excursions.

Most of my friends grew up in my home, except for a few that I met during secondary school who are from the neighbouring towns.

Yes, I would like to live there in the future since that is where I have my roots. I want to make an impact on the lives of youngsters as they grow with the exposure I have from living abroad.
