In this dynamic era, to create new and advanced technologies, we need to recall our past mistakes and do better than the past. Some people believe that history only shows us minima, while others postulate that, with the help of history, we can do better at what we currently do. Both have their pros and cons. Therefore, before I comment on my opinion, both views must be discussed.

On the one hand, in the opinion of the former, they have a mindset that we can’t recall the failures; instead, we can create some better opportunities for our future and present. Moreover, in the past, many researchers and scientists faced failures, so not only can we waste our time by seeing past failures, but we can also waste our time by finding mistakes from the past. For example, if an individual can do something better in the present, instead of doing that, we can use energy to create something better in the present.
On the other hand, considering the letter’s point of view, they believe that history can tell us more about how to do things better. Furthermore, the experiment was done by some famous people, so we know the faults of what was done in the past, so we will not repeat it in the future. In spite of knowing the mistakes from the past, we try to establish new standards. In addition, some people say that we can learn from our past mistakes.
In conclusion, history is as important as the present because it shapes our present from the past and shows us inaccuracies so we can do better.
