Usually, we celebrate events such as birthdays or anniversaries or baby showers. However, graduation parties are not that common in India. Since I am the only person who became a doctor and did post graduation too.

Therefore, my family has decided to celebrate this success. I remember when I received my master’s degree result, the happiness on my parent’s faces was priceless. It was a small house party only.

Around 30 people were invited. Most of them were colleagues and friends. A few neighbours were also invited. We ordered pizza as every generation of people loves pizza. My colleagues brought cake and flowers booked for me.

I felt really overwhelmed. We talked about our old post-graduation days. This event was extremely precious to me because I saw my parents were proud of me, and this is the only thing which every child desires after hard work.
