The chart below shows the sleep patterns of people in five different occupations according to a Canadian study. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below. Give possible reasons for the differences.

The given table illustrates a Canadian study of the five different occupations, namely, truck driver, student, full-time mother, business executive and doctor sleep pattern.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that student and business executive sleeping hours are more accurate and continuous while truck driver sleeping hours are accurate.

Students generally go to bed at 11 PM and awake till 7 in the morning; from 7 AM to 11 PM, they do not go to sleep. Similarly, for business executives, their sleeping hours start from as students although, they sleep 2 hours less as compared to students additionally, the rest of the time these professional people awake. For doctors, these vocational people are sleeping only 5 hours a day between 1 AM and 6 AM except 3-4 AM.

For a truck driver, hours of sleep for these occupational people are not accurate; they take it in two parts, from 7 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 7 PM. Furthermore, for full-time mother also takes the same hours of sleep as a student, 10 PM to 1 AM, 3 AM to 6 AM and 1 PM to 3 PM, in order to complete sleep.
