The pictorial representation shows the stages of bottle and canned drink production. Generally, it involves five major stages, starting from the first cleaning phase to the last packaging phase. Different machines are employed in each phase.

Firstly, once the raw materials are collected, the containers are thoroughly cleaned and all impurities are filtered from them. These are passed into the second phase, which involves two processes: heating and evaporation. When heating is done, there will be effervescence, which, when exposed to air, will evaporate, after which the product will be ready for mixing with other substances.

The mixing stage also comprises three cyclical processes, viz-a-viz: carbonating, addition of dye and colouring. All are done in an enclosed circuit that has an inlet and outlet. When the process is completed, it is passed into the filtering pipe, which is ready for finalisation.

At this stage, the drinks are separated into two separate areas, where they are either packed in bottles or cans and ready for dispatch to marketing stores.
