The information about how much work has been done without payment by the individuals is depicted in this rendered bar graph. The horizontal axis shows the categories of couples according to their children, whereas the vertical line( Y-axis ) shows the hours spent doing work.

At first glance, the graph illustrates that the contribution of women in unpaid work is higher as compared to men in each category of the family. By contrast, the role of men is lesser than women. If we look at the couples without having children, the total hours of women are slightly higher than men, about twelve hours.

Looking at the details as regards couples having one or two children, the women’s work is near to the 62 hours per week, on the other hand, men are at the bottom about only 20 hours per week. If we talk about a family with three or more children, then the ratio fluctuates slightly from the previous one.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that women are doing more work without any funds than the man.
