The chart compares the number of free time males and females with distinct occupational positions had from 1998 to 1999. Overall, it is noticeable that people who are not working and those on a pension had a considerable spar time than individuals found in the working force.

To commence with, within this one year period, men and women who were unemployed and those on a pension recorded for around 80 hours each and approximately 70 hours each respectively for having free time. Additionally, females who were housewives got around 50 hours of spare time, while their male counterparts had no record for having leisure time.

Also, men who were full time employed got about 50 hours per year period during which they did nothing, whereas their female counterparts enjoyed nearly 40 hours free period of time. It is interesting to note that females who engaged in part-time work recorded around 40 hours of spare time; however, there was no male counterparts in this category who had spare time.
