All in all, various changes have taken place in this vicinity, but the major transition of Sherman mansions along with his newly constructed park, which had been replaced by factory and wasteland.
At a glance, it is immensely clear that Jordan street with Sherman Street remained the same over the period of time. Townhouses in the West zone had been upgraded into flats, and this area was expanded. Wasteland with railway workers’ cottages and railway lines had been erected. However, a huge Sherman park sector was established in 1950.
Furthermore, the children’s play area was located on the corner of Sherman park on the south side. In the north area, factories, stores and wasteland were eradicated by Sherman mansions. Moreover, the refurbishment of the cafe and laundry was situated in the northwest corner. In 1910, only one store was constructed adjacent to the laundry, but in 1950, three stores were formulated with a new lane road on the corner of the southwest.
