The table illustrates the information about the percentage of national consumer expenditure by various categories in different nations, namely, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.
Overall, Turkey spent most of the money on food, drink, and tobacco, while Sweden and Ireland spent the least on leisure and education.
It is evident that initially, consumer spending on food/drink/tobacco, clothing/wearing, and leisure/ education was 28. 91%, 64. 43%, and 2. 21% in Turkey. However, the percentage of food was 16. 36, 9. 00 in clothing, and leisure 3. 20% in Italy. In contrast, Sweden had the highest percentage with 15. 77, then decreased continuously and reached 3. 22 in the last two categories.
Further, in Turkey, the highest consumers of food, clothing, and education spent the least, with 6. 63 and 4. 36, respectively. The expenditure on drinks was 18. Eighty per cent, and leisure had the lowest percentage in all other countries and categories.
