Universities Should Accept Equal Numbers of Male and Female Students in Every Subject. To What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree?
Tertiary institutions have no barriers to accessing any form of education; I strongly disagree that these institutions should accept the same number of males and females because it reduces the level of partiality and also has inadequacies in departments.

Foremost, there should not be acceptance of the same ratio of s@xes to reduce the level of partiality. Institutions generally set up standardized tests to assess the intellectual capacity of any person who wants to enrol. It would be unfair to accept candidates just for the sake of having a proportionate number of both s@xes. For example, institutions that are mainly engineering courses have a higher input of male applicants compared to females. Having an equal amount of females number would deprive qualified male students of access to education, which would be a biased process.
Furthermore, it will bring room for inadequacies in any department. There are subjects or courses that females have an affinity to. Departments such as the nursing department would experience a whole lot fewer students would attend because nursing requires a fundamental element of care, which naturally a woman has. For instance, the lesser ratio of women in the nursing department will directly result in an inadequate number of students in the department.

In conclusion, I lean towards the notion that universities should not accept the same number of males and females in courses because doing so decreases the level of bias in an institution and also increases the inadequacies in departments.
