Without Capital Punishment (the Death Penalty) Our Lives Are Less Secure and Crimes of Violence Increase (1)

Without capital punishment (the death penalty), our lives are less secure, and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In the midst of this technology-driven global world, the rate of crimes alamarginly accelerating. In this scenario, I opine that the death penalty is compulsory for controlling assaults and violence because penalizing the culprits with an appropriate punishment make the frightening situation and scared of committing other offenses; apart from that, the government spend ample amount of money from the national budget for the sole purpose of maintenance of prison and prisoners it can be avoided by executing the criminals rather than rehabilitating.

Primarily, Introducing the death penalty into the community for dealing with the criminals will enhance security by making a widespread fear and scarceness between the criminals, which will directly be inhibiting them from committing further crimes. Moreover, if law and order of one’s country are delicate and fragile, taking care of their citizens will eventually cause detrimental effects on society. For instance, in Saudia Arabia, the government practices public execution to fear the citizens. In my own experience, In my country, India, execution of criminals, whether they committed sexual assault on 5yer old girl or killing a young girl for dowry, is all everything will eventually end in 8 to 10 years of imprisonment. After they will release out and do the crimes again.

Secondly, Executing criminals is utterly an alternative choice of rehabilitating them. Thus, the nation can divert the Tax amount of citizens allocated to maintain the prison, and prisoners can be used for other purposes such as building educational institutions. Moreover, by doing so, one country can flourish in all aspects of its development. For example, North Korea has an increased number of death penalties, and also they are in the 8th position on the overall wealth of countries. However, taking one’s life if it is for a minor offense is not acceptable.

In conclusion, the death penalty makes citizens’ life more safe and secure and eventually reduces violence. I agree with the statement undoubtedly that capital punishment can create extensive awareness and fear between people, and also, The administrative can allocate the maintenance money for other purposes.
