Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter regards lodging a grievance due to appalling noise in North street, Thrisur. As you may be aware that, the maintenance work was progressed for the last three weeks, and still they do not complete for the proposed date.

My name is Anish, and I have been a resident of North street, house number 13, for the last twenty years. Compared with other streets in our residential sprawl area, our street members were following serene life for three weeks. That is before the work begins. Nowadays, we feel very disappointed with this maintenance work because our lifestyle may change due to some reasons.

The work was progressed 24/7. Vehicle, pieces of machinery, and piling machines worked without any rest. The problems we are facing due to this progress are rudderless. It hampered the learning of students, senior citizens are facing hearing problems, and in addition, newborn babies are also not able to sleep at night. Apart from this, issues due to dust, waste, and so on.

We know, without noise, the machines cannot do their work, and it may affect the work. The attainable remedy is, instruct the workmen to avoid old machines and install the new ones. However, it may help to reduce the noise. Furthermore, reduce the work time to 12-14 hours daily. This may incite us to refurbish our tranquil life.

I am expecting and adequate action and looking forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,
