You Currently Live in A Rental Apartment, and The Noise from Your Neighbours Disturbs You. Write a Letter to Your Landlord. in Your Letter. Describe how This Situation Affects You;

  • Explain What Steps You Have Taken to Address the Problem;
  • Ask the Landlord to Take Action to Resolve the Issue.

Dear landlord,

I write with much displeasure this evening. My next-door neighbour has constantly been making so much noise that I believe it is time for you to address the issue.

Firstly, he’s been playing music almost every day, both in the morning, afternoon, evening and even at night. This, however, has been a great distraction for me ever since he moved in. Students like myself need time and a serene environment to study either daytime or night, and his frequent music has made it impossible for me to study.

Additionally, his children shout helter-skelter every day after school. I once told them to minimize their voices, which resulted in an argument between their parents and me.

I had engaged the parents on this issue to reduce the volume of their players and also talk to their kids, but they turned deaf ears to my plea, which even led to a much worse situation than it was already.

Therefore, I want you to address this issue, which I believe is bothering all tenants. Kindly call him to order and, if possible, make new rules to prevent it from reoccurring. Thanks and best regards, your tenant, Patty.

Thanks
