You had gone to study in another country. But you had to come back to your country without finishing the course. Write to your teacher. In your letter:
- Thank him/her
- Tell him/her why you had to leave
- Tell the things you liked about the course
Dear Samuel,
I hope you are doing great. I am writing to let you know that I returned to my birthplace before I graduated in an unfortunate circumstance. However, I would like to express my gratitude for the incredible support I received from you.
Although you have stupendous knowledge, you are such a simple and amazing person I have ever seen in my life. Thank you so much for all your extended help and encouragement, which made me adapt to the education system of London within no time.
The reason for coming back to India is that, unluckily, my loving grandmother had passed away last week, and I could not resist myself to see her for the last time. I miss her so much as she was my mentor, admirer, guardian, and most lovable person. It will take some time for my family to recover from this loss.
Nevertheless, the course is much more informative and lengthier than I expected, and I could learn many things, especially from the real-time assignments and workshops, which gave me a clear insight. I am in love with the course, and I will try my best to return there as soon as possible.
Yours Faithfully,
