You Own an Old Item that You Think Is Valuable and Would Like to Sell

You own an old item that you think is valuable and would like to sell. Write a letter to the owner of an antique shop. In your letter

  • Explain how you found the shop
  • Describe the item that you would like to sell
  • Say how much you would like to sell the item for

Dear Mr Watson,

I am writing to you in order to sell an old item, which is of a high-quality product.

Let me explain to you that I had found your shop named ‘Hidden Treasure’ accidentally when I was scrolling over the internet. I had been looking for selling my product for a long time. I was taken aback to know that it was within walking distance of my home.

I would like to sell an antique round-shaped coffee table. It belonged to my ancestral period. Vintage coffee table can be adjusted in any corner of the house owing to its miniature size. It is still in its pristine condition because of its timely repair.

I would be able to sell it for $ 150. I consider it needs no negotiation as it is usable and no repair is needed. Moreover, many antique coffee shops are ready to pay a hefty amount to purchase old items to fascinate their customer. So, you will not need to persuade customers to buy it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
