You Recently Spent the Night at an Expensive Hotel

You recently spent the night at an expensive hotel. There was a problem with your room, but the hotel staff could not do anything about it. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter

  • Describe the problem.
  • Explain what happened when you asked the hotel staff for help.
  • Say what you would like the manager to do.

Dear Manager

This letter is in reference to booking number #22**765, dated May 10, 2021. I would like to inform you of the issues that I faced during my stay on the date mentioned above. I have been a regular client here, which was the first time I experienced such an issue.

I checked in around 5:00 pm and had to wait to get to my room; even when my check-in time was 12:00 noon, I was told that they had to a lot my room to the other guest under some circumstances. I managed as I understand that things come up. Afterward, when I got to my room, after an hour or so, I realized that the air conditioning system was not working; I informed the front desk, but I was not assisted for another hour or so; it was getting really humid inside. I contacted them again, and someone came up to fix it. Also, I was charged extra for miscellaneous expenses that I still have no idea about.

I’m requesting you to please look into the matter as a premium member; after paying for the high-grade facilities, I am still not being attended to properly. I expect to hear from you soon about the follow-up and the extra charges .

Regards Abc
