I hope you are doing well and enjoying your holidays. I deeply regret to inform you that a small accident occurred in your house. Last night, the TV remote broke down. It all initiated when I was watching a soccer match with one of my favourite teams. It was quite a tense match in which my team got eliminated in the final minute. Suddenly, my hands freaked out, and subsequently, I completely lost control of it. It broke down, resulting in a malfunction. I tried, but the keys were not working at all.
The following day, I paid a visit to a nearby electronics shop. The shop owner assured me that it could be repaired in a couple of days. Knowing this, I heaved a sigh of relief. Furthermore, I paid for the damages. Consequently, I felt ashamed due to my stupid negligence. I certainly hope that by the time you come home, it will be working as usual again.
