You Recently Went on a Business Trip and Stayed in a Hotel

You recently went on a business trip and stayed in a hotel. On getting home, you realized you left some things at the hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter, you should tell:

  • Details of your stay
  • The items you left behind
  • What you want the manager to do.

Dear Sir Madam,

I am writing to you to let you know about my belongings that I accidentally forgot to carry with me at the time of checkout, and I realized about these only after reaching home.

As I was on a business trip so I booked a deluxe suite in your Trinity hotel for a week. The room was on the ground floor and the number was 311.

To be honest, it was a mini briefcase that contained the insurance policy, my personal diary, and the checkbook. So all these items are indispensable for me and it can have a real threat if I don’t get these back. Since then, I left it in your hotel room, I was unable to get a sound sleep.

I would be highly indebted to you if you could deliver it to me via Speed Post or courier service at the given address. if you have any query regarding my belongings, I would not hesitate to reply to you. I will bear the expenses of the delivery as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,
