You Were Studying in an English Speaking Country and Suddenly Needed to Go Back to Your Home Country Leaving Your Course Incomplete

You were studying in an English speaking country and suddenly needed to go back to your home country, leaving your course incomplete. Write a letter to your teacher to thank him
explain the reason you left without completing your course
say during your course study what did you like most about this course.

Dear Mr White,

With immense grief, I am writing this letter to inform you that I am discontinuing my master’s degree and going back to my homeland. I cannot thank you enough for all the support you have provided me during my tough time.

Let me try to explain the reason behind my decision. As you already know, my father is not doing well with his health for the last 2 years. The last Sunday, he was hospitalized due to severe heart disease, and doctors are not hopeful about his recovery. Being an elder son, it is my prime responsibility to support my family, especially my mother, emotionally.

All in all, I have learned a lot of things from you and all other faculties during my stay. I really loved the time management subject from the previous semester, which helped me in every aspect of life.

Please let me know if any formality is to be completed before I leave the next Monday. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
