INTRODUCTION

In this fast-paced life, there is a huge disparity between the thoughts and viewpoints of youngsters and elderly people. There are various aspects in which they differ from one another and I absolutely agree that it causes a lot of issues. This essay will discuss the changes in the mindsets and the problems they cause.

PARAGRAPH – 1

The first and foremost difference is the acceptance of new technologies. The Millenials are updated with the newest trends of society which sometimes becomes difficult for older people to adapt to. Such as older people still believe in meeting their loved ones in person however the young people do not want to continue with the following pattern. Instead, they prefer to save time and money by talking to their friends over video calls.

PARAGRAPH – 2

Secondly, the dressing sense of youngsters is often not accepted by elders. The grandparents not only dislike it but also think that it is destroying their cultural values. The parents always try to convince their children to wear traditional clothes even though they are not comfortable. Nevertheless, the upcoming generation denies to do so and opts to wear fashionable clothes which they like. It is majorly observed in multiple surveys that parents chose cultural attires over the western wears for themselves and their children.

PARAGRAPH – 3

I completely agree that the gap in their thinkings raises a plethora of concerns. Admittedly, the differences lead to arguments and which further takes the form of heinous conflicts. Additionally, it breaks the family bondings and also vanishes the warmth of connections. The children grow with the assumption that their parents will never adjust with the latest trends so they choose to create a distance from their parents.

CONCLUSION

To reiterate, there is a myriad of ways that reflect the void between the mindsets of youngsters and elder people and which also becomes the reason for many issues in our society.

So this is the End of the writing task 2 (Young people often have ideas or attitudes that are different to those of their parents or grandparents. How do ideas and attitudes differ between generations in your society?)
