Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to make a request for my son, who will not be participating in the school activities for one day as he will be attending an event called the baby shower of his cousin’s sister. I hope you will grant this holiday for a single day.

As Rohan is the only brother among sisters and there are some ritual acts to be performed on that day so his presence is required to full fill some of our traditions. I know he is not matured enough and strong in a few subjects but for this occasion, I would like to humbly request you to allow him to enjoy that function for a day. I would promise you he will be in the school from the very next day of that event.

I will make sure that he will definitely work hard to cope-up with those missed lectures and other students as it will not much impact on his study. I will also help him to learn some left lessons so he would resume from where he left.

Hoping for a positive response in this matter!

Yours faithfully,
