📰 Some Think Newspapers Are the Best Method for Reading the News, While Others Believe that Other Media Is Better. Discuss Both Sides.
📈 News is the best way to improve social knowledge. There are two types of people: those who listen to the news with the aid of television or radio, and those who read newspapers. In both ways, people are coming to know about the things happening around them. However, in my opinion, media is the most supportive one in gaining awareness and knowledge easily.
📚 Starting to read newspapers from childhood is one of the best habits for children. It improves language, vocabulary, and awareness. However, reading newspapers may not be as flexible compared to media, which is more pocket-friendly, like mobile phones. Newspapers provide information on events that happened the day before, but media offers information on current problems, for instance, live telecasts of strikes.
⌛ Newspapers are time-consuming, in contrast to television or radio. In audiovisual communication, key points are displayed, and it takes less time to understand. Even colorful photographs in newspapers are not as attractive compared to television. Media reaches people with disabilities, such as blindness and deafness, as television displays sign language for the deaf and radio serves the blind. Importantly, concerning nature and global safety, newspaper production involves cutting down trees, whereas media relies on information and technology.
🌍 To summarize, mass communication is far better than reading newspapers for laypeople and reaches people in a short time.
