Question 1. How do you feel about birds? (Why do you think that way?)

Answer – I feel happy, especially when I see them flying around in the garden over flowers, singing in their groups, and playing among themselves makes me happy.

Question 2. How do Indian people feel about birds?

Answer – I believe most Indian people like birds. Many also keep them as pets at their home ex: different types of parrots, small colorful birds, pigeons; I have also heard people keep peacocks as pets.

Question 3. Are there many birds near your home?

Answer – Yes, the place where I live is full of greenery, and there is also a small pond around, so there are many different types of birds available in my business.

Question 4. Have you seen many different kinds of birds? (near your home)

Answer – Yes. Many types of birds I have seen around my place in gardens and near ponds.

Question 5. Do any birds have any particular significance in India? For example, does India have a national bird?

Answer – Yes, it’s a peacock; this beautiful peacock is the national bird of India.

Question 6. Do you think birds should be protected? (Why? / Why not? How can they be saved?)

Answer – Yes, they must be protected, there are many different species of birds already disappeared, if we want our future generations to see these beautiful and rare birds we must defend them. Coming to the second question, first of all, we need to spread awareness among our people about the bird’s protection and also by making sanctuaries for them, we should also not cut the trees to protect them.

Question 7. Do Indian people like raising (keeping) pet birds?

Answer – Of course, as I mentioned earlier, they love raising pets, such as parrots, pigeons, small colorful birds.

Question 8. Have you ever raised (kept) a pet bird?

Answer – I had them when I was young, but now I don’t keep them. I love seeing them flying freely instead of holding them in a cage.
