Sample Answer of Describe a Place You Visited ( Not Your Hometown ) that You Recommended Others to Live In
I visited the Bonny kingdom. It was September 2020 when our ship sailed towards that region. We were at sea for three months, loading crude oil in the region. The Bonny people are peace-loving people. We were free to visit them in the community, to make friends and know more about a different area other than our home town.
While our ship was at anchorage in the sea, we called on local fishermen to come and take us to the community with their speedboat. From the sea to shore is just 30 minutes drive on a speedboat.
The Bonny kingdom is an island surrounded by waters, and it is an oil-rich community where multinational companies are doing business drilling for crude oil and other mineral resources. At the same time, the local indigene’s main occupations are fishing and farming.
Bonny island is an industrial area where one can get a nice job within a week of arrival. The villagers on the island are good farmers and fishermen. Hence the cost of living is extremely low and affordable. Furthermore, the multinational companies built nice accommodations at a cheap rate, and I often visit Bonny island as the place is nice.
