Sample: Describe a Problem You Had While Shopping Online or In a Store: Cue Card

Well, I am a shopaholic by nature and never miss the chance to buy something new and fashionable for myself because it is an excellent way to spend quality time with family and friends. Also, I love to do online shopping. Most of the time, I had a good experience, but I would like to share an incident when I faced a terrible experience while shopping.

I vividly remember that last month, the end-season sale was on, and I very much wanted to buy some branded clothes for myself because I am fond of branded things. That’s why I went to the MBD mall, which was 50 km away from my home. There were a plethora of shores, after checking many stores.

Finally, I found my favourite store of the Zara brand, as I found most items were at a 50% discount. I was over the moon to see this. But actually, I was facing many problems during the entire shopping trip. I finalized some T-shirts and jeans from there.

First and foremost, services provided by sales staff were quite slow because of too much crowd inside the showroom. I waited in a long queue to find more colour options in my favourite articles.

Apart from this, due to this sales, the showroom was overcrowded. It created several issues like the trail room was fully occupied. I took almost half an hour to get into the trial room to try on my new clothes.

Then, I approached the cashier and gave him my debit card, but due to some technical issues, it didn’t respond. He tried several times, and then I tried to make the payment in cash, but when I checked my wallet, I didn’t have enough money.

I requested the cashier to let me pay the token money and gave me one day to clear the payment, but he did not agree with me because it was the last day of the sale.

Eventually, I had to leave the shop empty-handed. I also missed my T-shirt and jeans. But now I try to carry more cash while going shopping so that it will not happen to me again in my life.
