Sample 1

The given diagram elucidates the manufacturing of 5 different types of tea (white tea, green tea, oolong tea, large leaf black tea, and small leaf black tea).

Firstly, when leaves are grown, they are plucked from the plants. After that, they are sent for the wilting process. These three steps and the final step (oven drying) are conducted to prepare all the five tea types. Some steps are skipped as steaming is done only to prepare green tea.

The third step, rolling, is escaped to prepare white and small leaf black tea. Out of all small leaf, black tea is only crushed before drying. To prepare oolong tea after rolling, it is fermented slightly while large leaf black tea and small leaf black tea have to go through full fermentation before drying. In the final step, all the teas are put into the oven for drying.

Sample 2

The diagram outlines the process of the production of five different types of tea leaves.

On an overview, it is a linear process of a complete 3 to 5 steps starting from the plucking of unprocessed tea leaves to the making of fully processed different types of tea leaves.

The process starts with the plucking of the grown tea leaves, further left for wilting or withering. From here on, the process changes for every kind of tea leaves. The white tea is derived by just oven drying the wilted leaves. At the same time, the green tea is obtained by steaming, rolling, and then oven drying the wilted tea leaves.

The process of Oolong tea and large leaf black tea starts the same way by rolling the wilted tea leaves; however, in the further process of Oolong tea, the leaves are rolling are slightly fermented while for large leaf Black tea, the leaves are fully fermented. The end process for both the type of leaves is oven drying to gain the end product. Lastly, small leaf back tea is made by crushing the wilted leaves and then fully fermenting it before oven drying.
