In various nations, it is noted that local people wear more western clothes than traditional clothes. There are several reasons behind this trend, and I think this trend brings both positive and negative effects on people’s lives.
To begin with, western clothes are more famous in the present time than traditional clothes due to more advertisements of clothes. Most famous celebrities wear foreign outfits during celebration events, which attract their fans to wear the same clothes to look like them. As a result, it encourages a youngster to wear fashionable clothes. In addition, these days, due to the strong influence of social media on youngsters. Big brands influence social media users to buy clothes by offering attractive discounts and hassle-free loans for purchasing clothes.
On the other hand, western clothes have some positive impacts on individuals. First, wearing western clothes provides comfort to buyers, which they didn’t find in traditional clothes. In addition, some people wear western clothes representing their high-class status and society’s richness. While looking at the negatives, western clothes are much more expensive than traditional clothes; people have to spend a significant proportion of their budget on clothes. As a result, sometimes, they suffer from debt. Moreover, some youngsters force their parents to purchase similar garments their idol wore, and under pressure, parents have to buy them.
In conclusion, social media promotion influence users to purchase western clothes, and it has both good and harmful impact on an individual’s life.
