In today’s world of advanced science and technology, many still greatly value artists such as musicians, painters, and writers. What can the arts tell us about life that science cannot?
It has been argued that nowadays, by when the whole globe is making progress in the field of science and technology, still majority of the masses profoundly value musicians, painters, and writers. In my perspective, people do this because they teach the people how to lead a life and also entertain them.
First off, individuals give great regard to musicians, painters because their contribution to society is immense. Artists entertain the public with their work. They even have the ability to make the sad faces of people into happy ones. For instance, Musicians play different kinds of music, and it touches every heart. People forget their worries and learn to lead blissful life. It is a kind of therapy for them. Thus music has healing power. By contrast, science and technology have made the life of a layman easy. Now people have securement of any disease. Moreover, they can get their work done within seconds without delay. But, here, it is mandatory to mention that masses with such abundant amenities are incapable of getting relaxation and peace of mind. Therefore, the great works of above- mentioned artists provide them eternal joy and stress-free life.
Moving further, science and technology can widen the horizon of knowledge of inhabitants; however, it gets failed to develop humanitarian gestures that aboriginals develop when they see the painting of successful painters. They develop a feeling of pity, sympathy, and aesthetic sense as well. To exemplify it, the painting Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo da Vinci, is great in itself. The one, who sees it, could not help appreciate it. Furthermore, they develop a love for works of art and value the contribution of great artists.
To conclude, thus, in consideration of the above analysis, it is ostensible that owing to artists, and people remove their stress by going through their work of art. In addition, they felt quite relax and entertained themselves. Also, masses develop an aesthetic sense that science and technology cannot do.
