Question 1:- How do you celebrate New Year?
Answer – I get up early in the morning and then visit the temple to take God’s blessing. After that, all the family members gather and we eat lots of sweets on that day. We also lit firecrackers in the new year.
Question 2:- How do people in your country celebrate New Year? Do you have any ceremonies?
Answer – India is a multicultural nation, so new years are different for people with different religions. But everyone gathers on the new year and has ceremonies at their place or some good restaurants.
Question 3:- What do people do on New Year’s Day?
Answer – Most people leave work in the new year, so they spend time with family and friends. People usually go out to enjoy and also it is tradition to eat sweets on the new year.
Question 4:- Why do people think New Year is a new beginning?
Answer – I think the new year gives new hope to people, and they try to change things or do something new by making resolutions in the new year.
Question 5:- Have you ever celebrated NY that you still remember?
Answer – Yes, in my final year I and my friends decided to go for a DJ night on 31st December. Still, unfortunately, we did not get passes for the party, so we decided to go to our college party, which we thought would be boring, but surprisingly it was awesome, and we were glad that we did not get passes for DJ night.
