Parents are considered second to God because they take care of us after God in our childhood. My own parents are the best for me. Both have equal importance and value in my life, but today I would like to talk about my mother, who is a role model for me.
Her name is Gurmit Kaur, and she is 60 years old. She is a housewife and has always fulfilled her duties towards her children with hard work and dedication 🏡❤️.
My mother is a very hardworking and tolerant person since her early days. She has faced many ups and downs in life and has experienced poor economic conditions in her teenage years.
My maternal grandfather told me about my mother that when she was just 13 or 14 years old, her mother passed away, and he had to look after his children with difficulty because he had to balance his job and childcare.
My mother always helped her father in the absence of her mother. She got married to my father at the age of 18 and took the burden of her family on her shoulders.
She has always stood by my father in difficult circumstances. We are three siblings, two brothers, and one sister. My mother supported us in our studies and made us educated individuals 📚👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.
She also faced dangerous circumstances in the 1984 massacre when the situation in Punjab was very tense because, at that time, my mother had visited the Golden Temple Amritsar Sahib with us. But with her courage and understanding, she managed to escape safely from there.
My mother has a firm belief in God and prays to God early in the morning and in the evening. She also motivated us to keep believing in God and do the right things in life. So, my mother plays a great role in my life 🙏💖.
