There Is an Annual Work Party Next Month, Which Is Held Every Year. Write a Letter to Your Colleagues to Co-Arrange the Party. in Your Letter:
- Say What Would You Do Differently than Last Year
- Say What You Think Were Some of The Things Not so Good Last Year
- Suggest Where to Meet to Plan for The Party.
Hi Team,
I hope you are all doing well.
With August just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about our much-anticipated annual work party. I know we all look forward to this event as a chance to celebrate our hard work and connect outside the office. To ensure this year’s celebration is the best one yet, I wanted to reach out and suggest we form a small planning committee.
Reflecting on last year’s gathering, while the evening was enjoyable, I felt there were a few areas we could enhance. The banquet hall, for instance, felt somewhat restrictive, and the formal sit-down dinner arrangement limited our ability to mingle freely. I believe with a few adjustments, we can create an even more dynamic and engaging atmosphere this year.
For this year’s party, I propose we do something markedly different. Instead of a conventional hotel ballroom, perhaps we could explore a more relaxed, open-air venue, like a resort-style club with a lawn. This would not only be a refreshing change of scenery but would also allow for a more interactive setup. We could replace the formal dinner with diverse live food counters—showcasing everything from Italian to traditional Indian street food—and perhaps hire a live band instead of a DJ to cater to a broader range of musical tastes.
These are, of course, just initial thoughts, and I am certain that many of you have brilliant ideas to contribute. To properly brainstorm and start delegating tasks, I suggest that those of us interested in helping to organise the event meet sometime next week.
Would you be available to catch up in the main conference room on Wednesday during our lunch hour, perhaps around 1:00 PM? We can use this time to create a concrete plan.
Looking forward to collaborating with you all to make this year’s party truly memorable.
Best regards,
Manpreet Singh
