It is irrefutable that domestic and international travel has skyrocketed in the modern era. Such a trend could bring various benefits. This essay will analyse the reason for the booming of tourism and its benefits by taking instances to demonstrate points.

To begin with, in the past, people were used to staying in a place and spending the rest of their whole life without travelling to another country or place. However, As the world has shrunk and technological advancement provides cheap basic amenities, it attracts people the most. In other words, nowadays, with the help of technology, people easily find affordable accommodation and airfare with fewer transport facilities, which were not available before. Hence, this has encouraged people to travel often to different countries than ever before. Moreover, people have started careers in tourism. To be more precise, many young people choose their career as travel bloggers, where they share their content and experience, which also leads to attracting more people. To share experiences on their social media platform, they also get paid by social media. For instance, Dheeraj Sharma, a famous YouTuber and travel vlogger, shares his tour of different places and experiences. Which pays around 70 to 80 thousand per month on YouTube. Therefore, by watching this content, people are also influenced to travel.

Furthermore, travelling brings considerable benefits to a nation. To be meticulous, countries like Macau, Maldives and Fiji rely heavily on tourism, which boosts the countryā€™s GDP; attracting tourism allows local businesses like restaurants, hotels and other places. Thus, it directly affects their economic value. In addition to this, another benefit is that people experience travelling. To explain, traveller experience diverse cultures and develop their knowledge by observing realistic situations. For example, in a survey conducted in The UK, a person gather more knowledge by naturalistic than they get from a book.
