TV Programs IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer

Question 1. What kind of TV programs do you like?

Answer:- Out of all tv shows, I am most fond of soap operas and sequel shows. They are all about day to day drama and the fun of daily homes. I also like some sitcoms such as Kapil Sharma comedy shows as well as some reality and competitive shows such as dance India dance, India got talent and so on.

Question 2. Do you often watch programs on TV or on your smartphone?

Answer:- It depends on the place. If I am at home, then I mostly prefer tv, but if I am travelling, then I watch it on my mobile. When I was in the hostel, then I used to watch on mobile. So I think it depends on the places.

Question 3. Do you like watching the same kind of TV programs all the time?

Answer:- Yes, definitely. If it is a sequel, then I watch the same shows until it finishes. The reason behind this is that it continues the story. Changing different shows would be difficult for me to know the story and to be familiar with the characters.

Question 4. Do you talk with your friends about the TV programs that you watch?

Answer:- Yes defiantly. When there is some interesting scene or some interesting episode, and if my friends and I share the same show interest, then we do talk about the show in college.

Question 5. Do you think you watch TV too much?

Answer:- No, not really. I don’t think so because I am too busy during the daytime. So during the evening, we sit with my family and watch tv shows together.

Question 6. Why do some people watch Tv shows online?

Answer:- As I said earlier, if the one is travelling or it is not available on tv, then I think people prefer to watch on social platforms.

Question 7. Why do some people dislike watching TV?

Answer:- The reason behind disliking is that either they have no time or they must be not interested in watching tv.

Question 8. What benefits can people get from watching foreign TV programs?

Answer:- The First advantage of watching Hollywood programs is that increasing vocabulary as well as we are able to learn about foreign cultures and traditions.

Question 9. In your country is it possible for you to watch any TV programs in English?

Answer:- Yes, definitely there are many Hollywood programs on various channels, so it is possible to see them.
