Dear sir.
I am Taiwo, the tenant who moved to your apartment on Igbosere Street 2 months ago. I am writing to inform you that the bills that the Power Holding Commission, also known as NEPA, bring to this house are quite exorbitant. When I reached out to them, I realized that the people who lived in this house before I moved in did not pay their electricity bill for many years and it has accumulated. Therefore, the NEPA has been adding their bills to mine to clear the backlog.
It is quite overwhelming, and I decided that getting a prepaid meter is best. Getting prepaid requires the landlord to request that the NEPA write off the debts and open a new account for the house. Then, I will load cards on the prepaid meter, so it will paid as you use it.
I would appreciate it if you could liaise with the NEPA officials as soon as possible to sort this out, as the bill is too much for me to handle. Failure to do so will necessitate me looking for a new apartment with a prepaid meter.
Thank you in anticipation.
Yours sincerely,
