Your local city council has decided to pull down the oldest building in your area because of
monetary problems. Write a letter to the planning manager. In your letter
– Say why this building is important to you
– Explain what purpose this building can serve in the future
– Suggest possible ways to generate funds for the repair work.
I am writing this letter to appraise you with some problems our local councilor has created as they want to pulverize one of the oldest librarian buildings constructed in the colonial period. It is not just a building for reading but its center of excellence where I have personally collected knowledge of mythology. I have grown up near this area, so my emotions are attached to that.
This is one of the monumental buildings which can be useful in the future for a dormitory for local college students; individuals come from across the city to watch the architecture of this building, so it’s also a reflection of the past era of Indian culture.
I know it’s been costly to maintain for our next generation. Still, we should impose a little fee for entrance so people can enjoy ancient luxury and local municipal will have certain funds to fix some damages. Besides, people also like to share their income to preserve such a building, which restores our tradition and cultural value.
Hoping for a positive response in this matter!
